What We Do
ChemoHero is a registered charity based in North Devon founded by Lisa Wallis after her cancer diagnosis.
Lisa felt supported by her family, friends and medical professionals but struggled with the fact everything appeared very negative surrounding the word cancer and so she founded ChemoHero.
ChemoHero works with local businesses, community groups and tirelessly fundraise to produce boxes of kindness filled with useful and luxury items that are then given to people with cancer who are receiving intravenous chemotherapy.
The ChemoHero boxes are given out at the North Devon District Hospital in the Seamoor unit on patients first treatment or are hand delivered by our dedicated volunteers through a referral process.
